Speaker Bio's:

Scott Rhodie, Director of Houseparty PR at Hothouse
Rhodie currently heads up the Digital and PR Social Media division at interactive agency Hothouse. Scott started out as a tabloid journalist at The Sun newspaper in Scotland before moving into PR in Australia – since then he has been heavily involved in Sydney’s social media scene for some time.
Scott has worked across successful social media campaigns for clients which include Lego, McDonald's, Optus and Toshiba.

Heather Snodgrass, Digital Strategist
Heather kicked off her career in the US focusing on journalism and online editorial strategy and development, working with high-profile clients like Josh Spear, Behance, Blackbook and OMGPop.
Faced with a recession upon returning to Australia, she had two options: bartending or advertising. Choosing the latter, she moved quickly up the ranks at Amnesia Razorfish from copywriter and content strategist to Social Media Adviser, manuevering social media efforts on accounts such as Microsoft, Carnival, Smirnoff, Johnny Walker, Aussie and Sony. Most recently she worked across accounts at HOST and One Green Bean, on projects for Toyota 4x4 and Toyota Yaris, KFC, Oasis YSN and REA.
A quintessential digital native, she’s at both the forefront of social technologies, and maintains a diverse and influential professional and personal network, including a rather impressive Twitter following.

Mandi Bateson, Digital Planning Director at Daemon Group
With a strong background in small business product marketing, Mandi has extensive experience using print and digital marketing strategies to drive acquisition, growth and retention. Having managed the development and execution of campaigns for clinical devices, industry specific tools and solutions and telecommunication products and services.
